We are getting ready for church. Tonight is the Refresh service at FUMC. This is called the service of quietness. There are songs and many moments of prayer. We look forward to this once a month service. My wife and I are planning to fast one day a week during Lent. Our pastor asked the whole church to do this. We are very interested in getting together with friends for prayer and Bible reading on this day. Please let me know if anyone would like to participate. God bless.

I am getting ready to leave for Montgomery. I have school all day today. God is doing wonderful things with LIA. We are going to have a great year.

Let's plan this retreat. I need to plan in advance also.

Wow, what a lazy day. My back is giving me a fit. I have been on the couch almost all day. I will be preaching in Geneva on Sunday. Please keep us in your prayers. I also have to meet with the pastor of a church next week. Keep that in your prayers also.

Reaching God

Just watching the wonderful rain come down. My pastures need it real bad. God is supplying all of my needs. This has been an awesome week. Ken and I should not need to eat for a couple of days after the Chinese Buffet. Not!! I am looking for some people to do a Friday and Saturday Spiritual Retreat. Maybe 3-5 men of God. I would like to have a time of fasting, reading, and praying. We might could rent a cabin at Eufaula or some other place. Please give me some feedback on this idea. I do feel that God is moving in Southeast Alabama.

TGIF

I am really looking forward to the weekend. God has really blessed my business over the last two weeks. He meets our needs if we only ask. I will be at the warehouse on Saturday helping some friends do work there for LIA. We are looking for volunteers. Have a great weekend.

I am so excited about what God is doing in Dothan. I am really looking forward to the LIA Bible Study tonight. I also wnat to announce that I was accepted to AsburyTheological Seminary.
